Job Details
General job duties include caring for ventilated patients, initiating and titrating IV drips (vasopressors, sedation, and paralytics), assisting with intubations and line placement.
Monitoring critically ill patients with primary diagnoses of sepsis, respiratory failure (acute and chronic), renal failure (acute and chronic), myocardial infarctions, pulmonary embolism, pneumonia.
This is a mixed acuity unit with both ICU and progressive patients.
Job Requirements
Minimum 1.5 years of ICU experience required, 2 years ICU experience preferred.
Must have a valid IN RN License.
Schedule Information
Three 12 hour shifts per week.
Weekends are the greater need; weekend-only assignments could be created.
Traditional weekday plus weekend assignment rotations available.
Unit Specific Information
Onboarding through workforce development to review policies and obtain EPIC training and access.
One day of unit onboarding.

Mixed acuity unit - main patients will be PCU with 1 : 3 ratio, less likely ICU patients with 1 : 2 ratio.
Travel experience preferred.
Level 1 or Level 2 facility experience preferred.
Position will float to ALL ICU, PCU and Medsurg units with a 1 : 3 max ratio.
