What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping position at Parkview Retirement Community?
Maintains a clean environment throughout the Parkview community for residents, staff and guests. Ensures good customer service.
Job Duties
· Meets Parkview Standards
· Prepare housekeeping carts with supplies needed to adequately complete job.
· Provides cleaning services to resident apartments weekly including but not limited to the following tasks: Change bed linens, launder dirty bed linens and towels. Clean shower, toilet, mirror and sink in bathroom. Dust, wipe down kitchen counters, appliances and empty trash cans. Sweep, mop and vacuum apartment. (See housekeeping checklist)
· Clean common areas including guest restrooms and laundry rooms.
· Make sure exterior patios and balconies are free of debris and cobwebs
· Take stairwell trash to dumpster
· Responds quickly to resident and guest request. Interacts with guests throughout the community to ensure their satisfaction.
· Responds to community housekeeping issues or concerns that may occur. Report issues or concerns to director.
· Promote marketing support within the community by participating in tours and discussions with potential residents and their families when asked.
· Present a clean, neat and well-groomed appearance, wearing Parkview approved dress attire.
· Assist residents and guests as needed.
· Fully knowledgeable of the fire alarms system and procedures.
· Maintains appropriate degree of confidentiality.
· Performs other duties as assigned and which relate to the success of Parkview.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
