What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Coordinator position at Parkvue Realty Corporation?
Immediate opportunity available for the Accounting Coordinator position with with a well established real estate brokerage. The ideal candidate will be well organized and comfortable dealing with financial data. This individual will be responsible for working the the Accounting Manager on the oversite of accounts payable, receivable, reimbursements, reconciliation, property and utility management as well as conducting other tasks related to accounting matters. They should be excellent at organizing data and have an ability to execute on projects in a timely fashion.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Track AP/AR, vendor invoices, and manage expense preparation for reimbursement submission by the VA
- Manage utility activation and deactivation·
- Work with Municipalities on FOIA and violation requests, vacant property registration, pre/post marketing inspection requirements, and inspection scheduling
- Oversee field representatives including inspection photos, property preservation, and repairs tasks
- Assist with the preparation of receivership report financials
- Cross train with Accounting Manager in an effort to assist one another during time off
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree a plus
2 years of experience in related field
Proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks or related accounting programs
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to thrive and remain composed in fast-pace, high-intensity but fun environment
