As a Nurse Service Coordinator, The Nurse Service Coordinator coordinates facility medical records, including ensuring all hospital paperwork is received for new and returning admissions. Completing requests from 3rd parties. Scanning to PCC portal and scanning all documents into patient charts. The Nurse Services Coordinator maintains inventory, orders, tracks rentals for admission-ready supplies. This position ensures continuing education by conducting audits/renewals of staff licenses. Monitors Relias for completion and compliance. Conducts in-service trainings as assigned and participates in clinical new hires, including interviews and attending job fairs if requested.
WORK SCHEDULE
This full-time nursing position works typically Monday-Friday with on call rotation.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A Nursing Services Coordinator:
- Current RN licensure with the KS Board of Nursing
- Current CPR certification
- Experience with skilled nursing admissions and continuing education preferred.
- Must be able to take on call rotation.
- Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to perform the tasks required.
- As required able to work overtime evenings and/or weekends to meet departmental deadlines.
- Good organization skills.
- Ability to pass license check, background check and drug screen.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPPA regulations.
