Job Overview
The Patient Care Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless experience for patients within our clinic. This position is responsible for managing patient interactions, coordinating appointments, and providing essential administrative support to the Audiology team. Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information about services.
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of time and resources. Strong voice quality a must as many of our patients are hard of hearing.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Assist in the management of medical office operations, including filing, billing, and insurance verification.
- Support office operations as needed, including assisting with patient intake and follow-up procedures.
- Handle incoming calls and correspondence with professionalism and empathy.
Skills
- Proficiency in medical administrative support functions to enhance office efficiency.
- Experience working in a medical office environment is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and staff.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in patient records and appointment scheduling.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a focus on patient care.
