Service Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on various hvac equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of residential hvac equipement, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work with various tools and technologies. The Service Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on residential hvac equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues using ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
• Attend manufacture training classes.
• Be available for weekend on call during busy season.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding service needs and solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Experience

• 1 year service/installation experience
• Familiarity with low voltage systems is a plus.
• Strong understanding of wiring diagrams.
• Previous experience in customer service roles is beneficial.
• Ability to know how to order parts while in the field.
• EPA certified
• basic understanding of how residential equipment functions and how to identify why a component failed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
