About the Role:
Due to business growth we are looking for a Part-Time Express Technician at Parkway of Wilmington,NC Subaru. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers and will be given the opportunity to go Full-time once our new building opens in approximately April 2026. Your main responsibility will be to efficiently and accurately perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring that our customers' vehicles are safe and in optimal condition. You will work closely with our team of technicians to diagnose and troubleshoot issues, perform routine maintenance tasks, and complete repairs in a timely manner. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality work will contribute to the overall success of our service department. By delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of workmanship, you will help us build long-lasting relationships with our valued customers. This is great opportunity if you are enrolled into a auto mechanical technical school and wants some hands on experience while learning. The hours would be 3 pm to 8 pm shift Monday through Friday, with some flexibility with school and some Saturdays.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Some experience or schooling with working on cars.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Previous experience as an automotive technician or in a similar role.
- Some knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
- Basic computer skills.
- Reliable and dependable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification from an accredited automotive technician program.
- Experience working with a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:
- Performing routine vehicle maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
- Completing minimal repairs on various vehicle systems, including brakes.
- Conducting thorough inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
- Maintaining accurate records of all services performed and ensuring proper documentation in a computer application.
