Adventure Club Facilitator (Full-Time; School-Year; 195-day)
Parkway-Rockwood Community Ed is a partnership between the Parkway and Rockwood school districts that provides programs to enhance the quality of life for residents in the areas of adult education & literacy, aquatics, art, enrichment, outdoor education, school-age care and sports & fitness.
We are currently seeking a full-time Adventure Club Facilitator at Blevins Elementary School. The Adventure Club Facilitator is responsible for providing on-site supervision and staffing, creating an encouraging and safe environment for children during the school year.
- Full-time position during the school year (195 days)
- No summer
- No nights or weekends
- Make a difference working with kids
- Plan developmentally and age-appropriate activities in accordance with curriculum guidelines
- Participate in the recruitment, hiring and training of staff
- Communicates with parents clearly and effectively
- Ability to interact with children on their level
- Manage day-to-day operations of the program, including accountability of all children in attendance
