What You’ll Do

What You’ll Do
The Title Examiner assists in efficiently processing Title Insurance transactions while ensuring accuracy and timely service to Parkway Title. This role is onsite at our Maitland, FL office, with potential to be hybrid after 90-day training period.
Your Key Responsibilities Include
- Assist in the efficient processing of Title Insurance transactions while ensuring accuracy and timely service to the Closing Attorney’s office.
- Assist in reviewing Certificate of Title searches; prepare Title Commitments.
- Calculate Title Insurance Premiums for the Owners and/or Lenders Title Policies.
- Ensure prescribed turnaround times are met by reporting; sending out title documents and policies within the required timeframes; consistently meeting established productivity requirements.
- Maintain the highest level of Customer Service by knowledgeably responding to questions from the Escrow staff, Closing Attorney, Accounting Department, Title Insurance underwriter, etc.
- Maintain a positive and enduring relationships with the Closing Team as well as internal and external customers.
- Ability to perform online title plant searches to perform and examine title searches.
- Summarize research findings to assist with the closing process.
- Examine and analyze mortgages, liens, judgements, plat books, maps, agreements, contracts, easements, and surveys.
- Other duties as needed or assigned.
- Thorough knowledge of the use of technology.
- Possess excellent communication skills (verbal & written) with both internal and external customers.
- Ability to resolve issues quickly and meet deadlines.
- Exemplary organizational skills.
- Detail oriented and precision focused.
- Ability to drive results and work in an outcome driven environment.
- High school or equivalent.
- Prior title examination experience, builder environment, a plus.
- Proven knowledge of title policies.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
