- Must have full knowledge of all monthly casino promotions.
- Observe and report on all aspects of games, rules, procedures and check for any irregular activities.
- Displays working knowledge of all games offered in the casino.
- Displays working knowledge of Title 31 regulations.
- Time management, including developing the dealer rotation, etc.
- Perform regular table touches, greeting guest and making self-available to dealers and chip runners.
- Assist in administering promotions.
- Displays knowledge of player/guest tendencies, habits and likes.
- Anticipate the needs of player/guest.
- Seats players at appropriate tables.
- Runs checks to the Cage for players' chips.
- Brings new decks of cards to the Dealers when requested
- Verifies collection procedures, spot checks and reports to Floorperson that collection drops are being made.
- Takes names on the boards as needed. Keeps track of players waiting for seats to open in games.
- Recommends the need for new games to the Floorperson and/or Dealer Coordinator.
- Stay on task - Stay in assigned area during shift, limit unnecessary non-work related conversation, and fulfill all tasks in a timely manner.
- Keep gaming floor and work area clean. Is responsible for the ensuring the maintenance of a pristine environment for our guests and team members. Accurately enters data into the LGS, Everi, rotation logs, and guest count logs.
- Completes all gaming related closing tasks, including witnessing the surrendering of all outstanding dealer banks with the appropriate cage staff and conducts a final walk through of the gaming floor ensuring that gaming related items are secured and collected as appropriate.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two to four years in a customer-service position or similar environment.
- Open availability to work Day, Swing or Graveyard.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
- MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment employee permit, badge or license.
- Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test, criminal background and credit check.
- Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to walk, stand, and bend at neck for 6 or more hours a day.
- Position will require repetitive use of hands for the following actions; simple and power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing & pulling and reaching for entire shift.
- Position may require exposure to excessive noise.
- Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.
