Parkwood Day School at EUMC is looking for a full time kitchen manager. The kitchen manager is responsible for menu planning, food ordering / budgeting, snack and meal prep / cooking, and maintaining sanitary kitchen and food storage conditions in accordance with KDHE requirements. The applicant must have knowledge of CACFP food service guidelines and have food handling training, or be willing to acquire the training prior to hire. Experience in a licensed child care facility is preferred, however experience in a related facility (school, assisted living / nursing home, etc.) would be considered as well. Must be able to use a commercial dishwasher unit, as well as three-sink cleaning and sanitation practice when needed. Applicants must have excellent time management skills, be personable, and take direction from program administration.
The position is available 9 : 00-2 : 00, Monday through Friday. A comprehensive background check, health assessment, negative TB test, and foundational training module is required prior to hire.
