Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Receptionist/Assistant to provide administrative support in our office. This individual will be responsible for answering phones, offering exceptional customer service, making cold calls, and assisting with office management tasks. The ideal candidate will be proficient in QuickBooks, help with HR-related tasks, and ensure the smooth operation of the office by organizing and managing various activities. This is a dynamic role that requires a proactive and adaptable team member.
Key Responsibilities:
- Phone Management: Answer incoming calls, direct calls to the appropriate departments, and provide information as needed.
- Customer Service: Serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing a welcoming and professional experience.
- Cold Calling: Reach out to potential clients, introduce the company’s services, and generate new business leads.
- Route Planning: Create and organize routes for field teams.
- Material Ordering: Order supplies and materials as needed to support office and operational needs.
- QuickBooks Management: Assist with basic QuickBooks tasks, including invoicing, payments, and account management.
- HR Support: Assist with HR-related tasks, including maintaining employee records, scheduling interviews, and assisting with onboarding.
- Office Organization: Ensure the office environment is tidy, supplies are stocked, and all administrative functions run smoothly.
- Additional Support: Provide assistance with any other tasks as needed to support office operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an office environment or similar administrative role preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Experience with customer service and cold calling is a plus.
- Experience in landscape or blue collar industry is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.82 - $21.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
