Overview:

Parlor Doughnuts Gulf Shores, AL is hiring for a part-time position! The ideal candidates will have a passion for sweets, creativity, attention to detail and customer service.

Job Responsibility:

• This position is for multiple roles in the front and back of house. You will be trained in all areas.

• Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns promptly!
• Welcome and serve guests in a professional and friendly manner
• Follow all food safety and sanitization guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness of all equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing equipment and utensils
• Clean and reset your station at the end of your shift making sure that all surfaces are sanitized and all tools are put back where they belong
• Complete all daily tasks per the checklists provided (daily/weekly sidework)
• Maintain dress code
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies needs to be replenished

• Prepare and cook a variety of doughnuts following recipes and quality standards from start to finish
• Glaze doughnuts using icing and other toppings
• Prepare food items such as avocado toast, breakfast sandwiches, and breakfast tacos
• Restock doughnuts as needed
• Prepare and serve food and beverages according to company standards
• Prepare the highest quality cup of coffee, espresso, tea, and seasonal items
• Show new guests to our doughnut display and give them a tour of the items that we offer
• Answer any questions they may have in regards to the menu
• Take guest orders accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash transactions responsibly
• Let guests know where to wait and where to pick up their food/coffee
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining room
• All other tasks as needed

• Base of culinary knowledge or experience in the food industry
• Able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast environment
• Physical stamina to withstand a full shift potentially on your feet

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
