What are the responsibilities and job description for the Busser position at Parlor Hospitality Group LLC?
BUSSER
Located in the heart of River North, a new concept from Parlor Hospitality Group features late-night service. Our ideal busser will be responsible for resetting tables in a speedy, professional, and effective manner as guests leave the bar. Bussers are also responsible for the grooming of the entire bar and its perimeters, as well as supporting servers and service staff with refills and clearing tables. We are looking for passionate industry professionals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Between settings, promptly clean tabletops, chairs, and booths. Check the floor and clean as required. Reset and arrange the tabletop.
- Obtain service area assignments at the beginning of each shift.
- Promptly greet guests as they are seated and bring water to the table.
- Clear tables after guests leave. Take glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing.
- Inspect assigned restroom every 15 minutes and clean as needed.
- Communicate with the server and hostess to ensure efficient seating, table utilization, and customer service.
- Stock, set up, and clean tables and chairs throughout the shift.
- Assist server as needed with beverage delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods.
- Work with other team members to ensure a great guest experience.
