Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using the POS system.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and assisting with reservations.
- Maintain an organized waiting list during busy periods to ensure smooth guest flow.
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate guest needs.
- Assist with guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Support food service operations as needed, including assisting servers during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within the hospitality or food service industry.
- Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is a plus.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent guest relations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
