Major Food Group is seeking experienced Bussers to join our team at Parm Battery Park!
Since the original location of Parm opened in New York City’s Little Italy in 2011, the restaurant’s takes on Italian-American soul food have reached iconic status. From the prized Chicken Parm to the homemade meatballs to the Rigatoni Carbone, the menu is inspired by the cooking Michelin-Starred chefs Mario Carbone and Rich Torrisi ate growing up. The goal is to make the best versions of these recognizable dishes while remaining faithful to their history—and to serve them in a fun, familial environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide friendly, courteous and efficient quality presentation of food and beverage service to all guests

Clean, set and reset tables continuously, assuming responsibility for station, tables and side duties

Serve water, bread and coffee and greet guests by name whenever possible during the course of meal service

Ensure our guests have a high-quality dining experience by serving their food in a timely and accurate manner and rendering a high level of customer service
REQUIREMENTS:

Professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual

Deep knowledge of food service

Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service.

Full time flexible hours are required (able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays)

Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.

Proficient in computer skills including POS systems, Word and Excel.

4 years experience in an upscale restaurant a must

Experience in high-volume restaurants a plus
Compensation: $10.65 / hour plus tips
