RESPONSIBLE TO: Cafeteria Manager/Food Service Supervisor 3.5 Hrs, 10AM-1:30PM Monday - Friday
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Knowledge in the use and care of equipment and utensils used in the preparation of food.
MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
The CF-1 position is assigned the serving and portioning of food specific to their job title. To serve the students attractive, palliative and nutritious meals in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness and friendliness. Supports all team nutrition concepts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assists the first cook in the preparation of foods in accordance with standardized recipes and menus.
2. Transports food to counters and stores leftovers based on National Sanitation Foundation guidelines.
3. Cleans cafeteria tables, faculty dining and serving area.
4. Washes cooking utensils and returns them to proper storage.
5. Maintains general cleanliness in work areas.
6. Must be able to participate in wall washing, floor care, equipment cleaning and pots and pan washing
