Parman is looking to add a motivated and skillful Service Advisor to our PTE service team. The Service Advisor is the point of contact for our customers in need of repairs and service. This role is responsible for greeting customers, explaining services, and collecting payments upon job completion.
Responsibilities Include:
- Answer phones and greet customers upon arrival. Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Schedule repairs and field service work
- Effectively communicate accurate repair times, updates on repairs and completion time to customers
- Consult with Shop Foreman, Service Technician, and Service Manager that best suits the service or repair needed
- Assist in the warranty process in accordance with vendor requirements. Keep current on knowledge of service bulletins and equipment updates
- Interpret and enter mechanic notes daily for field jobs and shop when needed. Summarize mechanic notes for customer invoice cause, complaint, and correction
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Company's handbook and training manuals as well as company policies, procedures, and guidelines that are added and/or revised as necessary
Requirement:
- 1-2 years in a customer facing role preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and basic technical knowledge of agriculture and heavy equipment preferred
- Must be detailed orientated, organized, and able to multi-task
- Working knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions common to equipment and proper documentation
- Must be proficient with a personal computer, copier/scanner, Microsoft, Outlook, and various software
