Duties
- Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Manage bank reconciliation processes to verify transactions and balances.
- Handle accounts payable functions, including invoice processing and payment scheduling.
- Assist in corporate accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of public accounting standards and practices.
- Utilize accounting software to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounting roles, with a focus on journal entries and account reconciliation.
- Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with accounts payable processes is essential.
- Proficiency in accounting software; familiarity with various platforms is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
