Adventureland Park - Food & Beverage Attendant
Roles & Responsibilities
Role & Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a fun and inviting manner!
- Smile and communicate with coworkers and guests to ensure exceptional customer service
- Assist guests by quickly and politely answering their questions
- Prepare food following proper procedure and safety guidelines
- Conduct POS transactions while ensuring all procedures are followed – including credit and refund transactions.
- Ensure that all PCI and park guidelines are being followed for all financial transactions.
- Replenish condiments, beverages, and food supplies while maintaining a clean work area.
- Maintain compliance with company and industry best practices, policies, and procedures to create a safe environment for colleagues and guests.
- Monitor product quality and communicate shrinkage/waste to the lead and/or supervisor.
- Assist in other areas of the park to ensure guest satisfaction, if needed
- All other duties assigned by leadership
- No education requirements for this role
- Previous work experience is not required
Requirements
- Must be at least 14 years of age to comply with Iowa Child Labor Laws
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation to and from your scheduled shift
- Ability to comply with all uniform policies
- Must possess safety-oriented mindset and understand the importance of complying with all state, and local food preparation and serving regulations
- Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner
- Ability to positively engage with guests to promote sales and customer satisfaction
- Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independently
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workday
- Ability to occasionally stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders
- Ability to withstand heat and humidity from the food preparation equipment
- Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 30 pounds or more
- This role will be based in one or more food stall and/or restaurant locations throughout the theme park and waterpark, with exposure to both indoor and outdoor environments
- Frequent exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, snow, ice, and other weather conditions
- Subject to constant repetitive motion, high noise levels, and heavily populated environments
