Responsibilities:
- Perform alterations and repairs on uniform items, including embroidery and hemming
- Sew, stitch, and hem patches
- Replace buttons, zippers, and other fasteners
- Make adjustments to garment length and width
- Provide recommendations to customers regarding alterations and repairs
Requirements:
- Prior experience with sewing, embroidery, and/or clothing alterations
- Strong sewing skills and knowledge of different fabrics
- Proficiency in basic math for measurements and calculations
- Attention to detail and precision in work
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
NOTE: On-the-job training will be provided for sizing uniforms and body armor. Prior experience in this area is preferred, but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
