Job title : Cabinet Sales Coordinator
Pay : Starting at $23 to $27 an hour, depending on experience Commission
Schedule : Monday - Friday 7 : 30am to 4 : 30pm
Location : Hillsboro, Oregon (Located off 185th Ave)
The Cabinet Sales Coordinator works directly with the Cabinet / Appliance Salespeople and assists with all aspects of the sales process for residential, commercial, and re-model construction. This is a critical role for Parr's Design Centers, in that it ensures that the product specified for our clients is accurate, on time and in full. This allows our clients to close houses and meet challenging deadlines from their customers, which makes this position vital to fulfilling our mission of Legendary Service Through Teamwork .
Role will have a heavy emphasis on the 20 / 20 cabinet design component of the quote or order. In general, this role will spend a majority of their time designing cabinet layouts using our MiTek 20 / 20 design software.
The Sales Coordinator directly reports to the Division Sales Manager. The coordinator interacts regularly with our clients, Yard Managers, Install team, Inside and Outside Cabinet sales members, the Central Purchasing Department, vendor representatives, and industry associates.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience working with cabinet and appliances
- Knowledge of retail and contractor sales principles practices and protocols
- Experience in balancing a company's best interests against customer needs, and working with aggressive sales goals
- Must be able to type 40 WPM
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Proficiency in 2020 Design Software
- Must be able to operate personal computer, telephone, scanner, and any other equipment necessary for the job
- Must have and maintain a good driving record
- College degree preferred
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or in the building materials industry preferred
- Ability to speak, write, and read English required
Duties and Responsibilities
The primary working conditions are an office environment with a computer. The job requires occasional work in lumberyard or factory conditions working to train employees.
The job may require occasional travel to Parr locations in the Northwest. The job is primarily daytime, within a 6am to 6pm window, 40 hours per week plus overtime, as needed.
