About the Job
Parrish Medical Center seeks a skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist RN to join our team. As a CVIS RN, you will perform a wide range of technical skills during Interventional Cardiovascular, Electrophysiology or Interventional Radiology procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform angiography, preparation, assessment, documentation and monitoring consistent with policies and procedures.
- Prepare patients for various procedures and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the examination.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide efficient and effective patient care.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
- AHA (RQI acceptable) certification in ACLS and BCLS required.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a related field.
Schedule and Shifts
The successful candidate will work alternating shifts between 8:00 AM and 7:30 AM start times. On-call requirements include participation in STEMI program call rotation, with a minimum of 10 call days per month. The CVIS RN must be available to accommodate block schedule requests depending on need.

- Notice given 48 hours in advance of shift: Refusal to change may result in forfeiting guaranteed hours for pay period.
- Notice given 1 week or more in advance of shift: Refusal to change may result in termination.
- Plan for at least 4 hours to complete modules prior to start date.
