Lead Hospitality Technician

General Description:
Under the direct supervision of the Director, the Lead Hospitality Service Technician follows up on schedules/tasks/projects assigned to personnel on various floors & shifts. Prepares, organizes and directly follows a schedule to maintain an even flow of clean linen to patient floors and departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for linen distribution following established delivery schedules.
• Schedules personnel and arranges for assigned areas to have proper coverage. Follows up in assigned areas to insure work is being done properly and personnel are following assigned schedules.
• Trains personnel following programs development by Department Director.
• Counsels employees on job performance deficiencies and assists them in obtaining department and personal goals and objectives.
• Assists Operations Manager in the preparation of employee evaluations.
• Knows fire, disaster and safety procedures and regulations as pertains to the work area.
• Indicates an “essential” job function.

Requirements:

Formal Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in hospitality services required.
