Responsibilities and Duties
- Preparation of patients for various cardiovascular procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the examination.
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and responding promptly to any changes or complications.
- Documentation of all interactions and interventions accurately and efficiently.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
- AHA (RQI acceptable) certification in ACLS and BCLS required.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a related field.
On-Call Requirements
The CVIS RN must participate in STEMI program call rotation, with a minimum of 10 call days per month. Availability to accommodate block schedule requests depending on need is also required.
