The Retail Repair Technician IV position will be based at our Peace Haven Parrish Tire Branch, located at 1915 N. Peace Haven Road in Winston-Salem, NC. In this position you will be frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, interact with moving mechanical parts/equipment daily, and the noise level at the tire center is usually moderate to high.
Partner with the bestA Retail Repair Technician IV is an essential part of the PTC retail team. In this role you will have continued opportunity for growth with PTC as you continue to gain more experience and learn new skills. As a Retail Repair Technician IV you will be required to perform a wide range of tasks from diagnostics and repairs such as engine repair, brakes, suspension and drivability.

As a Retail Repair Technician IV, you will be responsible for:

• Showing a proven ability to accurately diagnose and repair moderate to complex problems.
• Effectively communicating with service advisor, team members and management.
• Consistently being a leader in efficiency of labor hours turned.
• Focusing on continuous improvement and learning of ongoing automobile and technology advancements.
• Making a positive impact on the store and company through your knowledge, encouragement and coaching of junior tech’s and team members.
• Assisting other team members, when necessary.
• Keeping equipment clean and organized
• Following Tire Industry Association safety procedures

To be successful in this role you will meet the following requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Minimum of three years of experience with diagnostics and automotive repair
• TIA Tire Service Certification
• ASE Certification, preferred.
• Must be able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Must be reliable and dependable and display excellent attendance.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 100lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 100lbs.

• Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM and Saturdays as required by business demands.
