In 1946 J.H “Shorty” Parrish founded Parrish Tire Company as a single location retail and commercial tire store in Winston-Salem, N.C. Having celebrated our 70th anniversary in 2016, the company remains family owned and operated, with over 300 employees spread throughout North Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, and Ohio. We are hiring for our Parrish Tire and Automotive retail locations which service the local communities’ cars and trucks through the dedicated work of our team of highly trained technicians and service advisors. We are looking for individuals with high energy, motivated , and have a great attitude. We are hiring for full and part time positions.
The mobile tire technician will be responsible for mounting, dismounting and balancing passenger and light truck tires as well as in interacting with customers during mobile service calls. Employees in this position will be working in multiple conditions inside and outside,must be focused on both safety and customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions and Tasks:
- Mount and dismount new tires on passenger cars and light duty trucks.
- Balance tires utilizing appropriate equipment.
- Responsible for various types of tire repairs.
- Keep service area clean to enhance a safe work environment.
- Responsible for following all safety regulations, processes and procedures required by Parrish Tire Company, TIA, OSHA and NCDOL.
- Communicate safety concerns and customer problems with their manager immediately.
- Must meet Parrish Tire Company and North Carolina driving requirements prior to driving customer or company vehicles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in a service related industry
- Must have prior tire changing expirience.

Requirements:
Able to work minimum 35 hours a week; hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, and some Saturdays.
Experience in auto repair preferred
Able to pass a drug test
Valid NC Drivers License
Able to work outside in the heat and cold
On your feet most of the day
Reliable Transportation
Great communication skills
Able to learn quickly
