The Tire Alignment Technician will be based in a Commercial Tire Service Center, at one of our Parrish Tire Branches and/or on site at a customer location. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, interacts with moving mechanical parts/equipment daily, and the noise level at the truck tire service center is usually moderate to high

The Tire Alignment Technician will be responsible for the safe and quality execution of all required tasks in their area.

As a Tire Alignment Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Use alignment machines and tools to measure and adjust the angles of the vehicle's tires.
• Ensure that the tires are aligned according to manufacturer specifications.Trailer readiness and/or alignment services
• Inspect tires for signs of uneven wear, damage, or defects that may be caused by misalignment.
• Check and assess the suspension system, steering components, and other parts that affect alignment.
• Operate computerized alignment equipment to adjust and calibrate wheel angles (camber, caster, and toe) for optimal vehicle handling.
• Ensure that alignment equipment is functioning correctly and calibrated properly.
• Rotate tires, balance wheels, and check tire pressure as part of routine maintenance.
• Perform other necessary services such as brake checks and suspension work.
• Keep accurate records of alignments, repairs, and services performed on each vehicle.
• Document any additional issues found during the alignment process and discuss them with customers.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure safe operation of all equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and organized, ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition.

To be successful in this role you will meet the following requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Must be able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Must be reliable and dependable and display excellent attendance.
• Hunter Alignment Level 1 training (if applicable, i.e. an alignment technician)
• Ability to operate a forklift while loading or unloading freight, forklift certification class provided after employment.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Minimum of six months of experience in a similar role.

• Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM with flexibility as required by supervisor.
