Job Description
As a Transportation Specialist at Parsec, you will direct crane operators in moving cargo containers and prepare railcars for loading and unloading. Once trained, you will drive trailers and chassis with containers around the rail yard terminal as they are loaded and unloaded from the train. Your responsibilities include preparing railcars for correct trailer/container sizes, guiding crane operators, and installing inter box connector locks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a valid driver's license, be 18 years or older, and willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions. You should also be available to work day, swing, night, weekends, and holidays, and comply with established safety rules and policies.
