Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic
Denver, CO
Pay Rate : $35.00
Base rate- $33 with $2 differential for Leadman duties)
Schedule : Monday - Friday
8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM
Weekend, Holidays, and Overtime as needed.
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic to join our team!
The ideal candidate will have experience with repairing and maintaining gantry overhead cranes, side loaders and chassis stackers by performing preventative and emergency maintenance. Duties include identifying problems, performing inspections, doing maintenance work, ordering and replacing parts, running computerized tests, estimating repair costs, updating repair records, and writing technical reports. You will be responsible for ensuring that our equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Sign on Bonus- $5,000 dollars

Benefits at Parsec :Crane or Lift Equipment Mechanics responsibilities :
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on rubber tire gantry cranes, side loaders and chassis stackers
- Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed.
- Follow a checklist of inspection procedures
- Perform preventative and emergency maintenance
- Inspect equipment for damage or failures, perform diagnostics and repair service for equipment component failures
- Remove and replace damaged or defective components, and operate support equipment including forklifts, man lifts and service trucks
- Clean the shop area and perform stocking functions
- All work performed must be done in a safe and efficient manner.
- Proven experience as a crane mechanic or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics systems, electrical systems, and mechanical knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret technical manual and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Possess personal tools to conduct all repairs (Wrenches, sockets, impact tools, electrical diagnostic)
- Experience with maintaining heavy equipment in either the Construction, Transportation, or Intermodal Industry
- MIG & TIG Welding experience a plus
- Other duties as assign
- Frequent standing, walking, balancing while walking on elevated catwalks, bending, and grasping.
- Occasional sitting, kneeling, squatting, twisting, reaching, lifting.
- Ability to frequently lift and move parts weighing up to 50 pounds
- Valid Driver's License
