Job Description :
Parsons is looking for a professional, energetic Cloud Software Architect who has experience designing, developing, and deploying cloud-ready applications. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our cloud strategy and architecture. You will work closely with our partners to design, develop, and deploy cloud-based solutions that meet our business needs. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the scalability, security, and reliability of our cloud infrastructure.
Note : Preference will be given to candidates in the NCR that can commute to Hanover, MD and be on-site 2 days a week.
What You'll Be Doing :
Design and Implementation : Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and reliable cloud architectures. Collaborate with development teams to ensure that cloud solutions align with business objectives and technical requirements
Cloud Strategy Development : Develop and maintain the cloud strategy, including the evaluation of new technologies and services. Provide guidance on best practices for cloud adoption, migration, and optimization.
What Required Skills You'll Bring :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture and design.
Proficient in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and storage.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Active Top Secret clearance
What Desired Skills You'll Bring :
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes

Salary Range :
117,000.00 - $210,600.00
