Job Description
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Functional Task Manager (FTM) to join our IW team! FTMs are senior resources who provide strategic insight and guidance to better serve mission technical and programmatic requirements; FTM scope may include focusing on lab and system-oriented initiatives and maintenance, resource management, sub partner engagement, Program and technical risk identification and mitigation, provide review of contract documents, deliverables while ensuring subcontractor performance and compliance. Job Description
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Functional Task Manager (FTM) to join our IW team! FTMs are senior resources who provide strategic insight and guidance to better serve mission technical and programmatic requirements; FTM scope may include focusing on lab and system-oriented initiatives and maintenance, resource management, sub partner engagement, Program and technical risk identification and mitigation, provide review of contract documents, deliverables while ensuring subcontractor performance and compliance. In this role, position activities include but are not limited to:
- Drive Program oriented functional and technical communications with Mission Managers/COR/TCOR’s as needed; understand Mission customer scope and Programmatic requirements.
- Validate Program burn estimates; validate ROMs with PM and PMO prior to COR/GOV submission.
- Validate Program cost data, ETC/EAC; work with PM and PMO when developing presentation of financials for GOV review, submission, discussion.
- Monitor performance against Program’s staffing plan, budget, and schedule (FMR, ETC, etc.); ensure financial measurables/metrics (including CER) on track with IW business planning for Parsons
- Work with GOV COR to establish contractual relationship. Communicate regularly to ensure contractual needs are met.
- Drive continued project growth; identify process improvements within IW functional and technical teams; coordinate with PMO to ensure prime: sub team member ratio in check.
- Manage customer change requests, SOW or MOD updates; ensure technical and functional teams understand impacts on requirement, schedule and/or Program budget implications
- Support IW CDRL development and submission efforts
- Understand Program contract scope and Program actions that support Mission and CDRL delivery.
- Support transfer of low side PMO communications to the customer network and socialize communications to the team as needed.
- Communicate with MPO Mission Managers/COR/TCOR’s as needed
- Demonstrated experience managing MPO ROMs and pricing data
- Demonstrated ability to manage and communicate financial reporting, expenditure accruals and tracking of financial data.
- Demonstrated experience with Program budgeting, forecasting, and subcontractor cost evaluation data.
- Demonstrated knowledge of IW Program functional and technical structure and TTO construct.
- Bachelor's Degree
- MS Office Proficiency, to include Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
- 8 years of related professional experience
- TS SCI w/ poly required
