We are GROWING! Parsons Counseling is seeking passionate, licensed mental health practitioners to join our dedicated team in Berea, Kentucky. As a counselor at Parsons Counseling, you will have the opportunity to work with clients of all ages and to profoundly impact the lives of families, children, and adults in our community by providing compassionate, innovative care. We have Intensive Outpatient groups that the new employee will be able to run. LPCA Supervision is provided along with training in play therapy to become a Registered Play Therapist.

**Position Responsibilities:**
* Provide exceptional counseling services, per agency, state, and professional standards
* Complete clinical documentation promptly and accurately
* Actively participate in staff meetings and in-service training
* Collaborate with clinical director and other staff to ensure optimal client care
* Advocate for client needs by communicating effectively with community partners
**Qualifications:**
* Completed a master's degree in mental health counseling. Eligible to become LPCA or Independent license in counseling, social work, or a related field
* Strong commitment to serving others with a deep sense of personal and professional integrity
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
* Positive, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset
* Successful completion of a criminal background check
**Desired Characteristics:**
* Proficiency in basic computer skills and strong written and oral communication
* Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
* Experience or interest in Play Therapy, Expressive Therapies, EMDR, Autism, or ADHD
**Salary range**
$47,500-$55,000 based on experience, licensure, and current certifications/trainings/specialties. LPCA's will be considered.
