Parsons Counseling is seeking a passionate, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated team in Berea, Kentucky. Position Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat clients of ages 5 through adults
• Assess and prescribe medication for new and existing clients
• Provide therapeutic interventions as necessary
• Suggest treatment plan changes, including medication recommendations, for clients who are not improving as expected
• Provide exceptional counseling services, per agency, state, and professional standards
• Complete clinical documentation promptly and accurately
• Actively participate in staff meetings and in-service training, as needed
• Collaborate with clinical director and other staff to ensure optimal client care
• Advocate for client needs by communicating effectively with community partners

Minimum Qualifications

• Kentucky-licensed psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (across the lifespan)
• DEA license (current or will be receiving within 2 months)
• Prior experience providing treatment to those with a mental illness diagnosis
• Experience or willingness to see children as young as age 5
• Successful completion of a criminal background check

Pay Range

$50 to $60 per hour or a negotiated contract rate, based on experience
