Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Assisted Living Caregivers to provide high-quality care to residents in our assisted living facility. As an Assisted Living Caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting individuals with daily living activities while fostering a safe and nurturing environment.
Duties
- Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Provide support in daily activities such as mobility assistance, medication reminders, and companionship.
- Maintain cleanliness in resident living areas and common spaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Lift and transfer residents safely using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Engage residents in social activities that promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
- Implement behavior management strategies for residents with developmental disabilities or other special needs.
- Document care provided and report any changes in resident conditions to the nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in senior care or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for helping others.
- Ability to lift and assist residents as needed while maintaining safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for certain positions involving transportation of residents.
- Must be able to pass background checks and any required training certifications related to caregiving duties.
