Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Sofware Engineer/Developer to join our team! In this role you will get to integrate with a diverse team of professionals working on a wide variety of projects in support of National Defense.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using React, Node.js, and JavaScript
• Work with NX to optimize monorepo development and project structure
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and database systems
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and testing to ensure high-quality software
• Contribute to agile development processes, including sprint planning and stand-up meetings
• Research and propose solutions to improve application performance and scalability

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in JavaScript, React, Node.js, and frontend development concepts
• Familiarity with NX, Git, and modern CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud services is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Passion for learning new technologies and contributing to innovative projects

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, or additional JavaScript frameworks
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Agile development familiarity

Salary Range:
$21.44 - $37.55
