Parsons seeks a skilled Facilities Engineer HVAC Specialist to work closely with customers and other engineers to provide subject matter expertise in mechanical and electrical systems within data centers.
The ideal candidate will have 8 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree/technical school graduate in a related field, excellent communication skills, and be able to analyze data from the site's monitoring system to support design efforts.
This role involves:
- Responsible for mechanical systems (chiller plant, FCUs, air handlers, in-row coolers) to include operations and maintenance, modifications, and reporting of mechanical data and metrics.
- Maintain all as-built designs, ensuring all changes at site are recorded and documented properly.
- Participate in future site design modifications and upgrades.
Requirements
- Active TS security clearance.
- Minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or Advanced Degree/Technical School graduate in a related field and 5 years experience.
- Experience in chilled water systems (CWS) to include chiller plant, pumps, valves, air handling units, fan coil units, and the associated infrastructure.
- Single-handedly lift and carry 45-pound systems and be capable of prolonged use of site equipment.
- Good communication skills and an ability to work closely with other professionals.
