Job Summary
A highly skilled and motivated Frontend Developer is sought to join a growing software development team at Parsons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain frontend User Interface software components using typescript and React.js library.
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Design reusable frontend software components and libraries.
- Work closely with other members of the software development team to accomplish tasks.
- Assist with creating software documentation describing User Interface designs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- Expert at developing software applications with React.js.
- Proficiency with using Redux for application state management.
- Proficiency with JavaScript and Typescript.
- Proficiency with Git and Git flow model for branching and merging.
- Proficiency working with RESTful APIs, Websockets and JSON data.
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced project team, as well as independently.
- Prior experience using Docker for container deployments.
- Prior experience working on SCRUM development teams.
- Prior experience working with DoD Mission Command software systems and/or TAK.gov software products.
