In this role you will get to support our critical mission partner to enhance national security in a highly dynamic research and development environment.What You'll Be Doing : Design a network to integrate with existing infrastructure to ensure operations teams can use tools and technologies effectively at the Tactical EDGESupporting tactical sensor development and deploymentAnalyzes existing designs and prototypes and recommend modifications as needed to support requirements.Work with the program management team to properly identify and prioritize Network loadConducting Network testing and performing analysis on packet capturesCharacterizing Network traffic in various environmentsAuthoring and executing network test plans and proceduresWork with the government and systems engineering team on integration issues and ways to maximize system performance, including diagnostics and resolution.Collaborate with various engineering teams on D-DIL communications solutionsEvaluate system performance and recommend improvements to ensure long-term viabilityImplement preventative maintenance measures to help the team minimize outages.Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assignedWhat Required Skills You'll Bring : Must have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a network engineerMust have a Bachelor of Science in engineering, scientific, technical discipline, or comparable work experienceMust have an active TS / SCI clearanceExperience supporting USMC and US Army communications equipmentExperience supporting D-DIL communications solutionsProficient on telecommunications, Ethernet, TCP / IP, and infrastructure technologies such IEEE, EIA / TIA, SATCOM, coax, copper, and fiberMaintain understanding of WAN, LAN, and Campus technologies plus be familiar with routing protocols to include BGP, EIGRP, OSPF and IP / MPLSExperience with Network Analytical tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, and IPerf3What Desired Skills You'll Bring : TS / SCI w / Poly ClearanceExperience leading a network engineering team.Experience developing workflow processes.Ability to communicate effectively and concisely using a variety of styles and technique appropriate to the audience.Extensive analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and organization skills.Cisco : CCST, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CCDECompTIA : Network , Security Security Clearance Requirements : TS with SCI eligibility is required for this positionMinimum Clearance Required to Start : Top Secret SCIThis position is part of our Federal Solutions team.Our Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
