- Department: Telecommunications - Schedule: Part Time, 20 hrs - Thursday, Friday 10:30am-7pm every other Saturday 3pm-11pm. - PTO coverage as needed. - Hospital: Ascension Providence Rochester - Location: Rochester, Michigan Operate the organization's telecommunication system to answer and route incoming calls and to communicate codes, alerts, drills and other announcements. - Receive and relay internal and external calls and provides general information according to protocol. - Maintain desk directories, on-call list, reference guides and other associated reference materials. - Operate beeper and paging system to contact personnel and code team. - Communicate codes, alerts, drills and other announcements according to established policies and protocols, including disaster management plans.
Education: - High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. - Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable. No additional preferences.
