VEHICLE VINYL WRAPPING INSTRUCTOR - PART TIME

Kennedy-King College is seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Wrap Instructor to lead our comprehensive vehicle wrap course. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in vehicle wrapping and a passion for teaching. The instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality training, both in theoretical and practical aspects of vehicle wrapping, to students ranging from beginners to advanced learners.
Responsibilities:
- Course Delivery: Lead and instruct students through all modules of the vehicle wrap course, including surface preparation, vinyl application, and advanced wrapping techniques.
- Hands-On Training: Provide practical demonstrations and supervise students during hands-on sessions, ensuring they develop the necessary skills.
- Curriculum Development: Assist in refining and updating course content to stay current with industry trends and techniques.
- Student Assessment: Evaluate students' progress through assessments, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Tool and Material Management: Ensure all tools and materials are properly maintained and available for each class.
- Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe learning environment by enforcing proper safety procedures and protocols.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest vinyl wrapping technologies and trends, and incorporate them into the training program.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of professional experience in vehicle wrapping, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Teaching/Training Experience: Prior experience in teaching, training, or mentoring within the vehicle wrapping or automotive industry is highly preferred.
- Certification: Certification from recognized industry programs such as Avery Dennison, 3M, or similar is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in vinyl wrapping techniques, including handling complex surfaces, color changes, and custom designs.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot common issues during the wrapping process and guide students on how to resolve them.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout the training process.
- Customer Service: Ability to work well with students of varying skill levels and provide personalized instruction.
