Position Description :
As a leading provider of restaurant technology to the top restaurant brands in the world, PAR Technology is searching for a Systems Administrator to join our Hardware Engineering team. This is a technical hands-on role, supporting the imaging, customization, and validation of customized operating systems for our POS terminals and additional restaurant technology products. In this role you will have the opportunity to support Windows, Linux, and Android implementations along with development and leadership opportunities.
Position Location :
New Hartford, New York (on-site).
What We’re Looking For :
Entrees (Requirements) :
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Technology, Computer Science or related technical field and 1-3 years related experience.
- Experience with various programming / scripting language(s) such as PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
- Experience with Microsoft (mandatory), Linux (preferred) and Android (preferred) environments.
- Experience with different imaging methods like Ghost, Acronis, Microsoft Full Flash Update etc. (preferred).
- Experience with Windchill product lifecycle management software (preferred).
- Great problem-solving skills.
- Hands on experience with hardware products.
- Must be able to work on multiple tasks and projects at the same time.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, reliable and have the ability to work both in a team environment and alone with minimal direction and supervision.

The base salary (or hourly rate) range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000 USD per year commensurate with work location, experience, skills, certifications, education, and prior accomplishments. The position may be eligible for additional compensation, including a bonus, commission and / or equity, as applicable.
