Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an IT Field Services Supervisor located in Eunice, NM. The IT Field Services Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing field operations, ensuring the successful implementation of our cabling, voice and data integration projects. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining high standards of service delivery and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, coordinate, and support IT field technicians and subcontractors.
- Oversee fiber optic, structured cabling, and networking installations across customer sites.
- Conduct site visits and quality control inspections to ensure project standards and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues related to IT infrastructure.
- Maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to meet service and project objectives.
- Ensure all fieldwork complies with safety regulations and company policies.
- Train and mentor field technicians to improve skill levels and efficiency.
- Manage inventory and coordinate equipment logistics.
- Document work progress, incidents, and issue reports to management.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in IT field services, telecommunications, fiber optics, or structured cabling.
- 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of low-voltage installations, network infrastructure, and IT systems.
- Experience with fiber optic splicing, terminations, and troubleshooting is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites.
- Industry certifications (e.g., BICSI, CompTIA Network , CCNA) are preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
