Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Telecommunications Technician to join our team. As a Telecommunications Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various telecommunications systems. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications systems, including high and low voltage equipment
- Climb towers or use bucket trucks to access equipment at elevated heights
- Rigging and welding of telecommunications equipment
- Perform fiber splicing and termination
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with telecommunication systems
- Conduct field service visits to customer locations
- Test and certify telecommunications equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to climb towers and work at elevated heights
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Will train for this position
