Particle Dynamics is hiring for a Production Associate in our PIC (Polysaccharide Iron Complex) suite. This individual will work 7PM-7AM on a rotating basis on the following permanent schedule:
- Week 1: 7PM-7AM - Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday (40 regular hours and 8 overtime hours)
- Week 2: 7PM-7AM - Monday, Thursday, Friday (36 regular hours)
- Week 3: 7PM-7AM - Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday (40 regular hours and 8 overtime hours)
- Week 4: 7PM-7AM - Monday, Thursday, Friday (36 regular hours)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate various manufacturing processes in the PIC Suite
- Perform all aspects of manufacturing, including material weighing through processing, in-process testing, final product inspection, and packaging
- Perform other manufacturing functions as assigned, such as blending, sifting, milling, always maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation
- Complete batch records for every batch according to the SOP's
- Able to operate, troubleshoot, and train on all unit operations within the PIC suite.
- Maintain production equipment and facilities in a clean and orderly manner
- Assist other operators upon completion of assigned tasks
- Review batch records and other GMP-related documents for accuracy
- Assist in other areas of manufacturing as needed (i.e. packaging, material handling, Spray Dryer Facility, etc.)
- Ability to learn and independently operate the PIC computer-controlled system
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 1-50lbs repetitively and frequently
- Frequent twisting, turning, bending, squatting, and hand movement
- Ability to work in wet conditions during cleaning periods
- Ability to ascend/descend stairs repetitively in hot/humid conditions
- Ability to operate the PIC suite independently
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Comprehension of basic math and reading skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Lives and practices the company's values
- Ability to work as a team and effectively communicate with all members
- Ability to operate industrial equipment (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, etc.)
