Proficient in sales and business development activities to drive new customers and sales globally. The role requires the candidate is highly adept in managing a large territory, strategic customers, project management across cross functional teams and adept in being able to promote the product portfolio, support sales budgeting and forecast process. In addition, the candidate has a technical understanding of pharmaceutical technologies like granulation, spray drying, and taste masking. To be successful in this role, the candidate will require a results' driven attitude with good working knowledge of the pharmaceutical customer and marketplace and excellent new business development, sales, and communication skills.

- This is a remote role that can be performed from anywhere in the USA. Travel 30-35% (Particle Dynamics locations, trade shows, customer locations, etc.)

Includes But Not Limited To The Following Activities
- Responsible for all new business development
- Manage a team of new business development professionals
- Development of a robust sales pipeline and the activities required to execute on obtaining new customers and sales
- Cultivate strategic relationships with new customers and key accounts and expanding sales of the Product Dynamics product lines within existing accounts.
- Generate account plans, sales forecast, project proposals
- Management of price quotes and negotiation, company capability presentations.
- Lead generation and able to identify and qualify new prospective accounts
- Build trust and confidence with customers and colleagues effectively.
- Deepen the Company competitive and market knowledge across the territory
- Routine reporting on customer and sales progress and account plans
- Customer and trade show travel required to drive growth
- Track and analyze sales territory to report on progress and growth plans
- Meet or exceed annual sales targets and budget
- Promote Particle Dynamics portfolio of products and services
- Maintain current customer relationships, forecast and inquiries
- Negotiate pricing and track quotations
- Previous sales leadership experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and oral
- Established experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Experience in the sales management of CRM's, sales, and new business pipeline and related metrics/KPI's
- Demonstrated experience in the development of sales and account plans
- Candidate must possess a strong network of contacts and connections within the pharmaceutical, OTC consumer health industry
- Must be willing and able to travel as needed to develop relationships that drive new business development and sales
- Demonstrated track record in customer relationships, new business and sales development
- Demonstrated history of positive collaboration across cross functional teams
- Initiative-taking, positive, energetic, and can drive high impact results
- Special assignments, projects, process improvement initiatives
- BA or BS (advanced degree a plus)
- 10 years of experience in pharma OTC, nutraceutical, or consumer health markets and have a demonstrated track record in commercial sales specifically new business development.
