We are expanding our activity in the US market and seeking a proactive and strategic Retail Business Development Manager to drive our retail strategy and execution. You will build relationships with large retail partners and ensure brand consistency while driving accelerated sales growth. Your leadership will be vital in shaping our retail landscape and maximizing market potential.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in Retail Sales and distribution:
- Proven experience in getting products into large retail chains (e.g., Target, Walmart, CVS, Sephora).
- Familiarity with the buyer dynamics of retail chains, including purchasing cycles and negotiation processes.
- Industry-Specific Knowledge:
- Understanding of your specific product categories (e.g., consumer goods, supplements, beauty, or skincare).
- Awareness of compliance and regulatory requirements for retail (e.g., FDA guidelines for supplements, labeling standards, etc.).
- Network of Retail Contacts:
- Strong relationships with retail buyers and category managers.
- Knowledge of how to approach and pitch to buyers effectively.
- Sales and Negotiation Skills:
- Expertise in crafting compelling pitches and negotiating favorable terms (e.g., placement fees, margins, and promotions).
- Ability to structure deals that benefit both your company and the retailer.
- Knowledge of Distribution and Logistics:

- Strategic and Analytical Skills:
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to create persuasive presentations.

Ideal Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (advantage).
- 5 years of experience in retail account management or sales in your industry.
- Previous work with brokerages or distributors that deal with retail chains can be a plus.
