What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Operations Assistant position at Parties & Props EPG?
Parties & Props is St. Louis' premier Event Design and Production Company. We design, fabricate and produce more than 250 social and corporate events throughout the St. Louis region each year. We employ individuals familiar with theater lighting, carpentry, scenic art, craft and fabric art, event designers and warehouse operations associates on a full-time basis to help make our clients event visions (and dreams) come true!
We are currently seeking a dedicated, and detail-oriented, full-time Warehouse Operations Assistant who will work closely with our Operations and Logistics Managers on a daily basis to ensure the successful management of our inventory, the pulling and prepping of our events and the restocking of our inventory when it returns from the event.
The right person for the Warehouse Operations Assistant position is a team leader and role model. They are comfortable working in teams and managing others if needed. They will understand the importance of and be comfortable adhering to and enforcing all company policies and procedures. We are looking for a leader and motivator who will set the standard by which all other team members follow.

- A willingness to do what is needed to ensure the quality of each and every event that we produce.
In addition prepping and packing items to be utilized at an event, this position will also participate in helping to maintain the warehouse and our extensive inventory of props, bars, stages, walls, set pieces, fabric inventory, lighting, sound, video equipment, and rental furniture. Doing so required proficiency with inventory management tools, computer software and Microsoft products, all key elements to maintaining the integrity of the information we have and ensuring that information is updated in a timely manner when inventory changes arise
Additional Job Skills/Requirements:
- You must have your own reliable transportation.
- You must pass a criminal background and drug test
- You need to have proven experience as a team leader
- You must have the ability to lift 50 lbs
- You will need the flexibility to work Days, Nights, Weekends as needed
- If you have previous event or theater experience, this is a HUGE PLUS.

Pay and Benefits:
Pay begins at $20.00 - $22.00 per hour (depending on experience) with periodic pay increases based on merit. Time and a half for all hours over 40 in a week. Room to advance. Paid time off (PTO).
