SUMMARY
Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Environmental Assessor
We are looking for talent to support our Environmental practice completing and finalizing project tasks according to deadlines and within budget as assigned by the project manager. You will have the opportunity to conduct site visits, complete Environmental Site Assessments and provide recommendations and solutions to the Project Manager and clients, while understanding the assessment’s potential impact on the transaction process. We are hiring these positions from coast-to-coast across all our regions in most major cities.
We are hiring across all levels – early career, mid-level and experienced. This is a perfect opportunity for a recent graduate! We are looking to hire someone bright and motivated and are ready to train the ins and outs of a career in Environmental Due Diligence.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & TASKS
- Complete and finalize specific project tasks according to deadlines and within budget
- Project research (historical, analytical, etc.)
- Communication with client and subject site representatives
- Data compilation and organization
- Report authoring
- Preparation of quality supporting documents (site figures, appendices, etc.)
- Other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager associated with report deliverable schedule and plan
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete specific project tasks as directed by the Project Manager
- Conduct project research as applicable to scope of work (historical, analytical, etc.)
- Data compilation and organization
- Conducting site reconnaissance, including sampling activities, if necessary
- Technical report authoring
- Preparation of quality supporting report documents/files
- Effectively communicate project progress and issues with the Project Manager
- Maintain communication with team members throughout the course of the project
- Plan, schedule and track project timelines and milestones to ensure project progress status is on schedule
- Provide solid recommendations and solutions to the Project Manager and clients, while understanding the assessment’s potential impact on the transaction process
- Identify and resolve issues with projects
- Deliver appropriate progress reports (verbally or by email), recommendations to the Project Manager and Client.
- Coordinate and respond to requests for changes in project scope
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work on projects concurrently
- Proven ability to successfully deliver a quality product on time
- Exceptional writing skills
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships within a team
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university in biological/physical/environmental sciences.
- Any environmental consulting or intern experience a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend English
- Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone
- Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen
- Must be able to perform field work and have a valid driver's license.
- Requires frequent bending, reaching, and standing, walking, sitting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout the work shift.
COMPENSATION
Salary range: $45,000-$55,000. This is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role
The pay scale for this role considers a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note, the disclosed pay scale estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location where the position may be filled.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive bonus program which is dependent on various factors, including, but not limited to individual and organizational performance.
