What we are looking for:
Partner Forces is currently seeking a Senior Analyst to support a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) contract. In this position, the candidate will provide strategic support and develop policy options to enhance the impact and effectiveness of homeland security and preparedness related grant programs. You will be responsible for working closely with our clients to address current and emerging threats to our homeland security and play a crucial role in establishing and nurturing strong partnerships.
The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong attention to detail, and be comfortable in fast-paced environments and managing an independent workflow while looking forward to future tasks.
What you will do as a Senior Analyst:
- Support the execution of the grant program to include assisting in creating program guidance and documentation production including the Notice of Funding Opportunities and all associated appendices and other supporting materials.
- Support the development in training materials and other resources for stakeholders related to the grant program.
- Provide support in developing and maintaining grant documentation, including tracking grant statuses, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve grant-related issues and provide recommendations for improvements in grant management processes.
- Assist DHS in determining grant program outcomes and evaluate and improve the program effectiveness.
- Assist in the preparation of grant-related communications, reports, and presentations for internal and external audiences.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of training materials for grantees and internal teams.
Qualifications:
- Currently hold, or able to obtain and maintain, DHS fitness determination.
- At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Government experience required, experience with DHS preferred.
- Grants experience a plus.
- Strong in communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats, including presenting to senior executives, developing lasting relationships, delivering clear requests for information, and communicating potential conflicts.
- Demonstrated experience in research and analysis and experience in client-facing engagement and rapport building.
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities, organize, and clearly communicate team objectives.
- Demonstrated experience working with a range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
